Seasoned Destiny 2 players know they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to show up every Friday with special exotic items. What isn’t so clear, however, is where to find it. Below is a map with a marker showing where Xur is, as well as a list of his goods.
Who is Xur?
If you are new to Destiny 2 and need more information about it, you should know that Xur is a specialty provider that sells exotic weapons and armor. Every week he comes to the solar system with a list of goods, including an exotic weapon and armor for each character class. In Beyond Light, he now wields items like the Five of Swords. He also offers quests to reclaim old exotic weapons that you may have missed.
Where can I find Xur (November 13th – November 17th)
The problem with Xur is how to find him. We always know when Xur shows up – daily resetting every Friday at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. The question is where is Xur. Previously, the location of Xur was marked on the map in Destiny 2. It’s now unmarked and harder to find every weekend. Here’s information on Agent of the Nine, Xur, and everything you need to know about this week’s deal.
Fortunately, Xur is pretty easy to find this week. You can find him in the tower in the hangar. Walk to the right side of the map and under the building where Future War Cult is. Go to the north edge of the map and run up the stairs there. You can find Xur at the top of the first flight of stairs next to the next flight of stairs.
Here is the exact location:
Xurs goods for this week
Lord of Wolves – 29 Legendary Shards: When it comes to exotic weapons, few have caused as much buzz as Lord of Wolves when it first fell. This exotic shotgun fires a massive burst of sun that can be charged to create an even bigger shot. The gun was made famous in 2018, but it’s still worth finding out if you love the mess with shotguns.
Chromatic Fire (Warlock) – 23 Legendary Shards: If you want to get precision shots instead of spraying and praying, Chromatic Fire is a great choice. While wearing this chest piece, any precision kills with your kinetic weapon will create a small explosion appropriate to your subclass element. This will reward you for being a sniper by hurting nearby enemies.
Raiden Flux (Hunter) – 23 Legendary Shards: Arc Staff users get a kick from Raiden Flux. The exotic chest increases the damage and duration of the bow staff after being killed quickly and one by one. That makes it the perfect exotic for chaining kills to maximize your super.
Aeon Safe (Titan) – 23 Legendary Shards: Like the rest of the set, Aeon Safe grants certain buffs to all teammates wearing Aeon armor. While wearing the gloves, melee kills give players different skill energy depending on their class. Warlocks gain grenade energy, hunters dodge, and other titans dodge. Allies who don’t have Aeon armor will still get a bit of energy, but this works best as a coordinated team effort.
Exotic Cipher Quest – Xenology: Exotic ciphers are items that players can use to obtain ancient, exotic weapons. Every week, Xur sells an exotic quest that awards an exotic cipher. You can only do one exotic cipher quest at a time. So delete all running tasks so you can buy a new one every week. This week, players will be given the Xenology quest where they will have to end strikes and win Crucible or Gambit matches.
